  • पश्चिम मैदान प्रदेश: उंची किमान 162.5 से.मी., छाती 76 से.मी. (5 से.मी. फुगवटासह), वजन किमान 50 किलोग्रॅम.
  • पूर्व प्रदेश: उंची किमान 157 से.मी., छाती 75 से.मी. (5 से.मी. फुगवटासह), वजन किमान 50 किलोग्रॅम.

Educational Qualifications:

  1. MSW (Cook):

    • Must have passed the 10th standard.

  2. MSW (Mason):

    • Must have passed the 10th standard, and one of the following:
      • ITI in Building Construction or Brick Masonry.
      • Class II Mason certificate as per Defence Service Regulations issued by Records/Centres or similar establishments of Defence.
    • Candidates must qualify the proficiency test conducted by the Border Roads Organization.
    • Must also pass physical tests as per the guidelines of the Border Roads Organization.
    • Should meet the prescribed physical and medical standards.

  3. MSW (Blacksmith):

    • Must have passed the 10th standard.
    • ITI in Blacksmithing, Forge Technology, Heat Transfer Technology, or Sheet Metal Work is required.

  4. MSW (Mess Waiter):

    • Must have passed the 10th standard.

Physical Qualification:

  • Western Himalayan Region: Minimum height of 158 cm, chest size of 75 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 47.5 kg.
  • Eastern Himalayan Region: Minimum height of 152 cm, chest size of 75 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 47.5 kg.
  • Western Plain Region: Minimum height of 162.5 cm, chest size of 76 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 50 kg.
  • Eastern Region: Minimum height of 157 cm, chest size of 75 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 50 kg.
  • Central Region: Minimum height of 157 cm, chest size of 75 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 50 kg.
  • Southern Region: Minimum height of 157 cm, chest size of 75 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 50 kg.
  • Gorkhas (Indian Domicile): Minimum height of 152 cm, chest size of 75 cm (unexpanded) with 5 cm expansion, and minimum weight of 47.5 kg.

Age Limit:

  • The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum age is 25 years as of 25 February 2025.
